Gray Jays (AKA Whisky Jacks) do not migrate south in the winter months. In the late summer and fall they stash food for the winter in bark, under lichen and between spruce needles. Grey Jays are the subject of one of the longest research studies of its kind to follow breeding pairs through multiple generations. Led by groups of volunteers and research students from Guelph University, a combination of coloured leg bands and radio transmitters allow researchers to understand where young gray jays travel once they leave their family group. Your mat border will be 2″ on either side up to a print size of 16″x20″ and 3″ either side for prints larger than 16″x20″.

Image will be printed on Photo eSatin 300g which is a premium-quality, resin-coated inkjet photo paper which will not reflect glare like a glossy paper. This paper’s excellent ink retention properties produce an exceptionally large color gamut for bright, realistically saturated colors and accurate skin tones.
